Ashuma provides a space for experiencing natural living closer to the roots, including eco-friendly luxury tents with custom-designed Balinese furniture, a fully equipped activity space, a spacious dining hall with vegan/vegetarian cuisine, a comfortable lounge area with a juice bar and fireplace for cosy evenings.

Every tent has its private entrance and its own outdoor space. The bathroom is attached and has all the necessary facilities. Tents can accommodate 2-4 ppl.

Activities Hall. A 145 sqm tent fully equipped with yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets....everything you need for our practices.
Dining hall. Spacious dining hall where you'll enjoy the most delicious vegan/vegetarian cuisine from international chefs.
Lounge area & Bonfire. Comfortable lounge area with a juice bar and bonfire place in front.

Nested in untouched wilderness with views over the coastline of Montenegro, Ashuma Retreat is truly a one of a kind location. Opened in the summer of 2021, the attention to every single detail, from Egyptian bedsheets to the carefully curated Bali furniture or even reusable water bottles, the Ashuma hidden luxury gem has captivated our fascination, and we're sure will do the same for you.

Ašuma is a luxury mountain retreat located in the Lovćen National Park, Montenegro. It's nestled in a serene valley, surrounded by mountain peaks and wild beech forest, at 1000 m above sea level.

There are 2 airports you can fly to: Tivat and Podgorica cities in Montenegro (approx. 1h driving away). Alternatively, you can fly to Dubrovnik airport in Croatia (2-45h). If you use other transport, contact us for more details. Individual or group airport transfers upon request.

Your Teacher - Emilia Oprea

Emilia is the founder of Yoga & Beyond and she has a diverse background in international business and BPO, real estate investments, social media and branding. She discovered yoga in 2014 while living in Vancouver, CA. She lived in many places (Vancouver, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Kuala Lumpur, Bucharest and currently Dubai) and during her travels she participated in many workshops, events and yoga retreats with renowned international yoga teachers that helped her advance in her practice. In 2020, she completed her 200h Yoga Teacher Training with Awakening Yoga Academy from Seattle, USA (Patrick Beach and Carling Harps) and is now teaching yoga classes in Dubai and our international retreats.
